Prof Bhupinder Sandhu Gastroenterology prize
Shared by:

(1) Dr Najeeha Talat Iqbal from Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan for her paper “Identification of environmental Enteric dysfunction in Pakistani children using novel approaches”.

(2) Dr Muhammad Karim Maghraby from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada for his paper “Using Exosomes to repair malnutrition induced gut barrier dysfunction”.

Prof Peter Sullivan Nutrition prize
Awarded to Dr Ezekiel Mupere from Makarere University, Kampala, Uganda for his paper “Low fat free mass is an important predictor of six-month development outcomes among children with severe acute malnutrition”.

Dr Barbara Golden prize for nutrition
Awarded to Dr Taylor Hendrixson from Washington University, St Louis, USA for his paper “Moderate acute malnutrition is associated with changes in saccadic reaction times in 7 to 11-month-old infants in Sierra Leone”.

Dr Neelam Mohan prize
Awarded to Dr Aaashay Abhay Shah from the Medanta Hospital, New Delhi, India for his paper “Spectrum, manifestations and management of hepato-pulmonary syndrome in 150 consecutive living related paediatric liver transplantation.”
